Texas Duck Hunting.

Early mornings, camouflaged blinds and mallards working the timber: duck hunting at The BigWoods on the Trinity is a guided, all-inclusive experience. Ducks are hunted in flooded timber and in open marshes planted in natural barnyard grass and pink smartweed, using pit blinds and comfortable permanent camouflaged blinds.

Our guides are expert duck callers, and every duck package includes guides, dogs and decoys. You arrive the evening before, settle in for supper at the lodge, and hunt in the morning. Because we don’t hunt ducks in the afternoon, many guests add a deer or hog hunt for the rest of the day.
