Our deer herd has been under intensive management for over 20 years, with a 1-to-1 doe/buck ratio and extensive cultivated food plots. The result is Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young caliber whitetail, and there are no high fences here: this is true fair-chase hunting on 7,000 acres of East Texas river bottoms, timber and food plots.
The rut, which runs from mid-October through mid-November, is the best time for trophy bucks, and we recommend booking long-weekend buck hunts then. Guests hunt with BigWoods managed deer permits, so you don’t need to use your personal tags.

Parent/Child Doe Hunt
$1,975Two days, noon to noon Friday to Sunday, with unlimited does. An additional child (15 or younger) is $825.
Rut
Two-Day Long Weekend Trophy Buck Hunt
$1,900 + trophy feeFriday to Sunday during the rut, with one buck and one doe. Trophy fee $2,250 for a buck 3½ or older.
Management buck hunts, bow hunts, three- and four-day trophy hunts and doe/buck combinations are also available. A valid Texas hunting license is required, and hunters born after September 1, 1971 must show proof of a hunter safety course. A $650 per-person deposit confirms your booking.
